Electric grippers for versatile work piece handling
With the YRG electric gripper series, YAMAHA offers a simple, yet powerful gripping solution for a wide range of applications. It combines many useful functions that a pneumatic gripper cannot provide:
- gripping power control
- workpiece measuring
- multi-point positioning
- speed/acceleration control
- work piece check function
For example, with the workpiece check function, a missing workpiece or workpiece drop during the transfer can be detected without using an external sensor.
The electric grippers are controlled with YAMAHA’s RCX controller and work perfectly together with YAMAHA’s SCARA, Cartesian and Pick & Place robots.
