EUREKA Controller, AI vision and robot controller by Eureka

EUREKA Controller

The EUREKA Controller is the control unit of the EUREKA AI Vision System. It connects industrial robots, 2D and 3D cameras, sensors and PLCs, and runs vision processing, grasp planning and robot motion on one device. The software for both programming and vision comes pre-installed on the controller.

Engineers without deep robotics experience can set up and adjust applications such as bin picking, precise pick and place and quality inspection. When parts or processes change, the system can be adjusted without outside support.

Seika Sangyo supplies the EUREKA Controller across Europe from our base in Düsseldorf, including sample part testing on our own EUREKA demo system and remote training together with Eureka Robotics.

Key features of the EUREKA Controller

Connects your camera, robot and PLC

Cameras, robots and PLCs are integrated and calibrated through one controller.

EUREKA Controller GUI showing a 3D point cloud of metal parts in a bin

No-code software, pre-installed

Set up and adjust applications with drag and drop, without writing code.

Works with YAMAHA, DENSO and other major robot brands

Use the controller with the robots already on your line.

Built for robot vision and bin picking

Pre-installed software with visual programming

The programming and vision software runs on the controller. Applications are built by connecting function blocks with drag and drop, without writing code.

Pre-trained AI models and on-site training

Pre-loaded models detect, inspect and locate most parts without new training. New parts can be trained on the controller with or without CAD data.

Your data stays on site

Programs and AI models are stored on the controller and belong to your team.

High-accuracy calibration

Cameras, robots and end effectors are calibrated together for end-to-end picking reliability in vision guided tasks. Works with standard 2D cameras and the EUREKA 3D Camera.

Real-time motion planning

Collision-free robot paths are generated in under one second and adapt to changes without manual re-teaching.

Works with YAMAHA, DENSO and other major robot brands

It also supports FANUC, ABB, Yaskawa, Universal Robots, Mitsubishi Electric, Omron and others, so it can be added to robots already in use on your line.

We support your project

We work with you from the first review of your application to training your team. We also supply YAMAHA and DENSO robots, so we can propose the controller, the vision system and the robot as one solution.

STEP 1

Requirement Review

We review your application requirements, your parts and your target cycle time.

STEP 2

Configuration Proposal

We propose a configuration of controller, camera, robot and gripper for your application.

STEP 3

Simulation and Sample Testing

If you send us CAD data of your parts, we can run a detailed simulation of the pick points. We can also test your sample parts on our own demo system.

STEP 4

Remote Training Support

Together with Eureka Robotics, we provide remote training support for your team.
