SCARA (Selective Compliance Assembly Robot Arm) robots are versatile industrial machines offering 4 degrees of freedom, making them ideal for high-speed, repetitive pick-and-place tasks. Commonly used for transferring components, they also excel in applications such as electrical circuit board assembly (THT mounting), dispensing, clamping, splitting, and post-inspection quality control. Additionally, a camera can be mounted on the SCARA arm to automatically determine the precise pick-up and placement positions of the handled products.
